Lucy Chioma Aniagolu is a young Alumnus of Tekedia Institute Mini-MBA, USA, the University of Nigeria, the Future Female Business School, and the US Consulate Academy for Women Entrepreneurs. For over five years, Lucy has developed a keen interest in leadership, entrepreneurship, and agriculture. She served in different capacities to nurture this interest, even as an undergraduate student. Her resilience for success and value addition earned her the 6th best speaker at the 2017 University Founders’ Day Debate and a maiden recipient of the Universities’ Best Presenter Award, 2018. Lucy was the first female intern at the Southeast Zonal Biotechnology Laboratory. She was also a two-time recipient of her Alma maters vacation job with the Postgraduate School and the Accounting Department, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She has worked across different firms, startups, and sectors, including agribusiness, since 2013. These experiences have helped her build an Edtech for Agribusiness called Agrodemy Enterprise and a virtual agric book store called Agric Books. Lucy has volunteered for both national and international programs geared towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and entrepreneurship. She was enlisted top 4 women for the US Consulate Academy for women Entrepreneurs 2019 pitch, top 25 young entrepreneurs at the Nigerian Canada Investment Summit, a nomination for the 25 under 25 awards under the agriculture category 2020, and recently, a postgraduate scholar within the Nigerian University of Technology and Management (NUTM) When not working, she loves to take pictures, write poetry, and listen to good music.
